• Jeremiah

  "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

  -Jeremiah 1 : 5

   

  "For My people have commited two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And they have hewn themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water."

  -Jeremiah 2 : 13

   

  Thanks God. For not just knowing us better than we know ourselves, but for telling us that you knowus better than ourselves. God you want better for me than I want for myself. We make plans and goals to fullfill our pitiful and selfish dreams and then have nothing to show for it years afterward but an empty heart. Our selfishness dies with our pride as we're lifted off the floor for the hundredth time. We realize that the ony thing in life that can satisfy this God made hunger is God himself. But the only way to God is through the narrow path, which takes sacrifice.

  It's worth it though.
